What Algoscan does.
Algoscan let users and developers search accounts, transactions, assets and applications on Algorand, and read the state of the chain in a browser.
The company has since ceased operations. It stays on this page because it was part of the first cohort, and a portfolio that only lists survivors is not a portfolio.

Why we backed it
The case for Algoscan.
Every chain needs a reliable window onto itself. Explorers are how users verify a payment and how developers debug a contract.
It fit the selection test: a team building full-time, a problem that exists without the chain, and a clear reason the chain makes the product possible.
